HANOI, April 9 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's State Treasury raised a total of 80.1 trillion Vietnamese dong (about 3.19 billion U.S. dollars) through government bond auctions in the first quarter of 2026, the government portal reported Thursday.
The amount raised met 73 percent of its quarterly plan and 16 percent of the annual target, said the report.
In March alone, the government issued 19.56 trillion Vietnamese dong (about 779 million dollars) worth of bonds via 16 bond auctions held at the Hanoi Stock Exchange, according to the report. ■
