DHAKA -- Thousands of garment workers staged demonstrations to demand wage hike for the third consecutive day on Tuesday in key apparel hubs on the outskirts of Bangladesh's capital Dhaka.

Dozens of workers and policemen were reportedly injured as some laborers clashed with the law enforcers in the industrial hubs in Ashiila and Savar outside the capital city.(Bangladesh-Demonstrations)

ISLAMABAD -- Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan Tariq Bajwa said Tuesday that his country expects more financial technology from China to help develop digital financial service in Pakistan.

The governor made the remarks during a launching ceremony of the country's first blockchain technology backed home remittances service. SEOUL -- South Korea's job growth hit a 9-year low last year, with the unemployment rate rising to the highest in 17 years, a government report showed Wednesday.
