The 317-meter-long and 38.7-meter-wide Dahe Road bridge, which lies across three railway lines, was successfully rotated to its targeted position on Thursday. The weight of the swivel bridge, which reaches 60,000 tonnes, refreshed the world record of its kind. China has adopted the swivel construction method in building many bridges.
